"Ribbon Cutting and Ground Breaking"

It was my pleasure to capture an exciting ribbon cutting this week in Fridley as well as a new ground breaking. Two years ago I was there for the initial ground breaking so it was really interesting to see all the progress that has happened in the last few years.

Can I just say thank you for all you have done for our wedding? Honestly, thank you doesn't quite cut it. You were so amazing! I knew I picked the right photographer for the job when I chose you. There was never any doubt in my mind that you were the best of the best. I honestly don't know how you do it! All those people, having to group everyone, getting everyone's attention to get them to do a pose or join for a photo. You are so incredible!

Thank you so much for taking photos at the wedding where you were a guest. It means the world to me that you took time our of your busy schedule to do this for us. I was so excited to see all the photos you took from the wedding, the family, and the bridal part! I was really surprised when I got your message that you edited them all already! That is soooo crazy! It made me so very happy because it showed me that you had such a good time that you couldn't wait to show off all of the awesome photos. And the photos, oh man, words cannot describe how much we love them!

You did such an excellent job coming up with what poses to do and what angles to take them at. I am so excited to print them out and hang them up around our apartment. I really do appreciate all the work you did for us before, during, and after our bug day! I feel very blessed to have been able to acquire your services. I have always loved your work because its more special to me because you are so very talented and family.

Again, thank you so much for your hard work. The final pictures are breathtaking and I can not wait to frame and display them!

"Oh Amy....

Where do I even begin? I was just about to go to bed when I got your message last night and I spent like 2 hours going through all of the pictures. I couldn't stop! I was speechless at how beautiful they all turned out. I would find one and say "That's my favorite!" and then 2 pictures later, go "No, that's my favorite!". (Erik was doing the same thing this morning!) It was so fun getting to see all the details of the day that I didn't get to see before - like the tables all set up, and the chairs ready to go. (I think it's because I got left downstairs in the laundry room for 30 minutes while Erik was wandering around outside - I really didn't get to see anything before I walked out with Dad! Hee hee hee!) I mean, the picture of the Best Friend sign under our TV stand, and the "I love you" I casually wrote on the
kitchen blackboard (Liz gave it to us as a Christmas present and that's the only thing that has ever been written on it!) - just, wow. I'm starting to cry all over again thinking about it. It was all just perfectly wonderful. And can I say, that picture of me and Brandy right before I walked out? She's been my constant companion through everything, and I'll treasure that captured moment for the rest of my life.

Seriously, the gift you have for capturing the smallest details and the care that you take doing it is truly amazing. Erik and I could not be happier with everything - and there's no other way to say it! You rocked it, lady. Over 95+ heat, and you didn't even skip a beat - you were your absolute wonderful self, knowing exactly what pose you wanted next and coming
up with ideas on the spot. I cannot even tell you how many compliments we received during and after about how creative, professional and fun you were - everyone loved you (which is no surprise at all!)! The road that Erik and I have taken from being teenager best friends to finally being married best friends has been a long and winding one, so to say that June 11th was a big day for us and our families would be a massive understatement. You perfectly captured it all for us, and there is no other way to do justice to how much it meant to us to have you there, except to just say Thank you - so incredibly much. I can't wait to get the CDs and start picking out pictures for our
walls!!!

For now, I'll just say take care, lady!! I hope to see you around the Savage/Bville area soon! :D

"Amy Olson was the photographer at our wedding on April 25, 2009 at the Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota. We were absolutely impressed with her services. We had our pictures taken before the wedding. We were both nervous and Amy put us at ease and made taking pictures a lot of fun. She started with the two of us and then did family pictures. Amy has a natural way of making it fun and calming at the same time.
Amy is very creative. We were not looking for the normal type of wedding pictures; we wanted them to be different, fun, and natural. She absolutely captured that, while still getting the traditional family pictures.
Our pictures were provided to us on discs in a very short time frame. We are thoroughly happy with how they all turned out. The only problem is that there are so many we like, it is hard to choose which ones we wanted to frame. Amy policy of allowing her clients to have all of the pictures she takes helps with this. We get to keep them all.
Overall, I would say that our experience with Amy was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend her services. I know we will be calling her when our kid’s graduations come up.
