"Family Fun"

"Precious Moments"

"It's the little blessings that help us see just how lovely life can be."
These are a few photos that I took of Kina and her little brother, Ty. They were so adorable! I wanted to get some shots of each one of them just being themselves and some together. Since time goes by so fast I think that it is important to capture these precious moments in life!

"Trash The Dress"

This "Trash The Dress" session went great with Alwyn and Mona, they were so great to work with! The fun part of doing "Trash The Dress" is it can be anything the couple wants it to be. In their case they didn't get that many photos at their wedding of just the two of them so we took care of that. It was great and very relaxing!

"Young Love"

Since we were all really unsure how long the nice weather was going to last, we thought that we would take the last couple nice days and enjoy them while capturing Chantelle and Adam's love for each other. They were great to work with and I hope that they loved their photos!

"Oh Amy....

Where do I even begin? I was just about to go to bed when I got your message last night and I spent like 2 hours going through all of the pictures. I couldn't stop! I was speechless at how beautiful they all turned out. I would find one and say "That's my favorite!" and then 2 pictures later, go "No, that's my favorite!". (Erik was doing the same thing this morning!) It was so fun getting to see all the details of the day that I didn't get to see before - like the tables all set up, and the chairs ready to go. (I think it's because I got left downstairs in the laundry room for 30 minutes while Erik was wandering around outside - I really didn't get to see anything before I walked out with Dad! Hee hee hee!) I mean, the picture of the Best Friend sign under our TV stand, and the "I love you" I casually wrote on the
kitchen blackboard (Liz gave it to us as a Christmas present and that's the only thing that has ever been written on it!) - just, wow. I'm starting to cry all over again thinking about it. It was all just perfectly wonderful. And can I say, that picture of me and Brandy right before I walked out? She's been my constant companion through everything, and I'll treasure that captured moment for the rest of my life.

Seriously, the gift you have for capturing the smallest details and the care that you take doing it is truly amazing. Erik and I could not be happier with everything - and there's no other way to say it! You rocked it, lady. Over 95+ heat, and you didn't even skip a beat - you were your absolute wonderful self, knowing exactly what pose you wanted next and coming
up with ideas on the spot. I cannot even tell you how many compliments we received during and after about how creative, professional and fun you were - everyone loved you (which is no surprise at all!)! The road that Erik and I have taken from being teenager best friends to finally being married best friends has been a long and winding one, so to say that June 11th was a big day for us and our families would be a massive understatement. You perfectly captured it all for us, and there is no other way to do justice to how much it meant to us to have you there, except to just say Thank you - so incredibly much. I can't wait to get the CDs and start picking out pictures for our
walls!!!

For now, I'll just say take care, lady!! I hope to see you around the Savage/Bville area soon! :D

"Amy Olson was the photographer at our wedding on April 25, 2009 at the Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota. We were absolutely impressed with her services. We had our pictures taken before the wedding. We were both nervous and Amy put us at ease and made taking pictures a lot of fun. She started with the two of us and then did family pictures. Amy has a natural way of making it fun and calming at the same time.
Amy is very creative. We were not looking for the normal type of wedding pictures; we wanted them to be different, fun, and natural. She absolutely captured that, while still getting the traditional family pictures.
Our pictures were provided to us on discs in a very short time frame. We are thoroughly happy with how they all turned out. The only problem is that there are so many we like, it is hard to choose which ones we wanted to frame. Amy policy of allowing her clients to have all of the pictures she takes helps with this. We get to keep them all.
Overall, I would say that our experience with Amy was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend her services. I know we will be calling her when our kid’s graduations come up.
