"Fall Mini Sessions"

Fall is by far my favorite time of year, I wish it lasted much longer in Minnesota! We had a great first mini session photo shoot day and a special thanks to my friends Chris and Melissa for letting me use their beautiful home as a backdrop. I hope that everyone loves their images, I had a great time capturing them!

"Amy,

Can I just say thank you for all you have done for our wedding? Honestly, thank you doesn't quite cut it. You were so amazing! I knew I picked the right photographer for the job when I chose you. There was never any doubt in my mind that you were the best of the best. I honestly don't know how you do it! All those people, having to group everyone, getting everyone's attention to get them to do a pose or join for a photo. You are so incredible!

Thank you so much for taking photos at the wedding where you were a guest. It means the world to me that you took time our of your busy schedule to do this for us. I was so excited to see all the photos you took from the wedding, the family, and the bridal part! I was really surprised when I got your message that you edited them all already! That is soooo crazy! It made me so very happy because it showed me that you had such a good time that you couldn't wait to show off all of the awesome photos. And the photos, oh man, words cannot describe how much we love them!

You did such an excellent job coming up with what poses to do and what angles to take them at. I am so excited to print them out and hang them up around our apartment. I really do appreciate all the work you did for us before, during, and after our bug day! I feel very blessed to have been able to acquire your services. I have always loved your work because its more special to me because you are so very talented and family.

Again, thank you so much for your hard work. The final pictures are breathtaking and I can not wait to frame and display them!

Lots of Love,

Anthony and Keighley"

"Just FINALLY went through all your pictures you sent. AMAZING. How are you able to time our kids' quick smiles and glances SO perfectly? You are literally the only photographer that can do it. THANK YOU! They once again capture our little crazies perfectly. Love them!"

"Oh Amy....

Where do I even begin? I was just about to go to bed when I got your message last night and I spent like 2 hours going through all of the pictures. I couldn't stop! I was speechless at how beautiful they all turned out. I would find one and say "That's my favorite!" and then 2 pictures later, go "No, that's my favorite!". (Erik was doing the same thing this morning!) It was so fun getting to see all the details of the day that I didn't get to see before - like the tables all set up, and the chairs ready to go. (I think it's because I got left downstairs in the laundry room for 30 minutes while Erik was wandering around outside - I really didn't get to see anything before I walked out with Dad! Hee hee hee!) I mean, the picture of the Best Friend sign under our TV stand, and the "I love you" I casually wrote on the
kitchen blackboard (Liz gave it to us as a Christmas present and that's the only thing that has ever been written on it!) - just, wow. I'm starting to cry all over again thinking about it. It was all just perfectly wonderful. And can I say, that picture of me and Brandy right before I walked out? She's been my constant companion through everything, and I'll treasure that captured moment for the rest of my life.

Seriously, the gift you have for capturing the smallest details and the care that you take doing it is truly amazing. Erik and I could not be happier with everything - and there's no other way to say it! You rocked it, lady. Over 95+ heat, and you didn't even skip a beat - you were your absolute wonderful self, knowing exactly what pose you wanted next and coming
up with ideas on the spot. I cannot even tell you how many compliments we received during and after about how creative, professional and fun you were - everyone loved you (which is no surprise at all!)! The road that Erik and I have taken from being teenager best friends to finally being married best friends has been a long and winding one, so to say that June 11th was a big day for us and our families would be a massive understatement. You perfectly captured it all for us, and there is no other way to do justice to how much it meant to us to have you there, except to just say Thank you - so incredibly much. I can't wait to get the CDs and start picking out pictures for our
walls!!!

For now, I'll just say take care, lady!! I hope to see you around the Savage/Bville area soon! :D
Annamarie (and Erik!)"

"Just a little note, so say how wonderful it was working with you for our photos at my daughter’s wedding. You made everyone so comfortable and everything run so smoothly, it was just a natural fit for us. The pictures turned out beautifully and I couldn’t have asked for better. I look forward to future events where we can have you apart of our memory making again.

Thanks again for everything, you were wonderful."

“We were thrilled with our wedding photos! The photos are absolutely stunning! In addition, we can’t say enough good things about Amy’s professionalism. From start to finish, her demeanor was calm and delightful. She made us feel completely at ease – which was a huge stress relief! We are a blended family with four younger children and Amy did a fantastic job of keeping them engaged and smiling. Also, since this was a second wedding for each of us, we wanted a less-traditional look and she nailed it. Her delivered product was better than we had hoped for — far exceeding our expectations.”

There are soooo many great shots, I'm not sure how we will choose which ones to display/use for gifts!! Thank you so very much for capturing some of the best shots that we've ever gotten of the kids! And, the belly shots made me cry (excuse my pregnant, hormonal self). Anyways, thanks again!! It was great working with you and we look forward to working with you more in the future!

I sat at my computer for HOURS last night trying to decide which ones were the “best” but, it was nearly impossible because they were all so great!
Thank you again for taking his six month photos, it means a lot to me to have such wonderful photos to have as a keepsake.

"Amy and Heather,
We wanted to send a belated, but heartfelt "Thank You" for photographing our May 2nd, 2009 wedding! We were floored by the pictures - they turned out SO GREAT and we are nothing but happy with your results!
Thanks too, for sending the CD's, photo release, and access to the website - all were very convenient.
We would be happy to be a reference for your future clients, if needed, and would have nothing but kind words to say. Thank you again for everything, take care!
Nick and Christina Struzik"

"Amy,
We have been so excited to see our photos, thank you so much for everything! I know it was raining and cold, thanks so much for toughing through the cold with us. We ended up having a great time overall even with the rain! No one will forget it at least! Thanks again, you did such a wonderful job. I will put a great word out for you!
Thanks,
Matt and Hannah Seifert"

"Hi Amy,
We received the pictures yesterday. THANK YOU!!! We love them! I wasn't sure how they would turn out because Danny was kind of fussy that day, but you really did a great job getting some shots of him.
Thanks again!
Jenny"

"Amy Olson was the photographer at our wedding on April 25, 2009 at the Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota. We were absolutely impressed with her services. We had our pictures taken before the wedding. We were both nervous and Amy put us at ease and made taking pictures a lot of fun. She started with the two of us and then did family pictures. Amy has a natural way of making it fun and calming at the same time.
Amy is very creative. We were not looking for the normal type of wedding pictures; we wanted them to be different, fun, and natural. She absolutely captured that, while still getting the traditional family pictures.
Our pictures were provided to us on discs in a very short time frame. We are thoroughly happy with how they all turned out. The only problem is that there are so many we like, it is hard to choose which ones we wanted to frame. Amy policy of allowing her clients to have all of the pictures she takes helps with this. We get to keep them all.
Overall, I would say that our experience with Amy was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend her services. I know we will be calling her when our kid’s graduations come up.
Thanks again Amy!

Paul and Tricia Sickmann"

"Amy,
Thank you so much for our wedding photos! Brian and I still have not had the chance to sit down and go through all of them together since there are so many good ones to choose from! Your creativity and ability to "blend in" made our day go so smooth and relaxed. I am the worst person at taking "posed photos" and you made me so relaxed that they all turned out great!
You were so much fun and natural. There were a lot of photos we saw that we didn't even know that you had taken! Your ability to capture moments are priceless and I don't think I would have so many good photos had we hired someone else. I was so impressed with the amount of photos and how quickly we recieved them from you. It's also so neat to have them on your website so we can share them with everyone around the world and they can have the ability to order prints directly from your site.
I highly recommend you to anyone I know for weddings, family reunions, holidays, etc. Any occasion anyone needs a photographer, I am giving them your name!
Take care and I look forward to hiring you when we start having babies!...
Brian and Katie Huebner"

"Hi Amy,
Our CD's came in the mail today. Thank you so much for all your work, energy, and efforts in totally capturing the day! We couldn't have asked for better. I am a picture junkie so when I saw that there was 544 of them I did a big cow girl "YEE HA!" Jeff thinks that I am nuts, but he knew that before we got married. Your photo genius eyes and bubbly personality made smiling that much that day easy and fun-even for the guys! :)
You rock!
Thanks Again,
Jeff and Wendy Wamsley
P.S. Thank you for your help putting my earrings in - I don't know what I would have done without your skinny fingers! :)"

"Amy,
We just got all of our CD's yesterday , thank you so much...you did a WONDERFUL JOB!..... There are so many good pictures, that we want them all. I think it's going to be hard figuring out which ones to choose.
Thanks Again!
Jason and Emily Emery"

"Amy,
I just got the pictures and finished looking at them just now! They are great, I don't know how you managed to get these photos with the kids cooperation! We will definately use you from now on for their milestone photos as well as Christmas pictures.
Thank you so much!
Cindy Petrusek"

"Amy Olson has an extraordinary talent for capturing the formal and informal moments. Amy arrived early to canvas the area for the best back drops, assisted in many other areas that “normal” photographers would not have, and captured hundreds of precious moments for our special day. We received our edited photos quickly and Amy exceeded our expectations with quality and quantity. There was never any pressure to buy additional photos and Amy was very flexible with what we wanted. I would recommend Amy Olson Photography for your family photos, wedding photos or any other event where you want the best quality photography possible."
