"Today I Married My Best Friend"

On Saturday, June 27th I watched as Jeremy and Lainey were joined in marriage in Belle Plaine, MN. They had a beautiful day for their wedding and outdoor reception and we had a lot of fun with their photos! Everything looked beautiful, you could see a lot of their hard work went into all of the details. We also got some fun shots with the entire wedding party that I thought were cute (everyone in sunglasses, running for me, being goofy, etc.) Hope you enjoy a couple of my favorites from their day. "Eric and Amy"

Last weekend was an exciting, fun filled wedding weekend (I photographed one on Friday and one on Saturday), it was a great time!... Eric and Amy joined their love on Saturday, and being friends of ours it was really fun watching their "big day" unfold. Along with their family and friends, they celebrated their love at Lakefront Park in Prior Lake and then had their reception at the Savage American Legion. Everything looked wonderful and we couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise. Hope that you enjoy a couple of my favorites from their day, enjoy!...

Last night my good friends Mindy (Faith's Mommy) and Denise (Faith's Grandma) took Faith (my beautiful little "model") out for a fun photo shoot around Savage. We thought it would be fun for her seventh birthday to do some cute photos with some balloons and just enjoy the different backgrounds we could find. "You Are My Everything"

On Friday, June 19th I watched as Jason and Jenni joined each other in marriage on beautiful Lake Minnetonka. It was a wonderful day and we all had a lot of fun during the lake cruise. As special as the day was for the two of them, Jenni's parents also were celebrating their wedding anniversary which I thought was a wonderful addition to the day. The weather changed so many times that we got a lot of different backgrounds to choose from (sun, rain, beautiful rainbows, and a lovely sunset)...hope you enjoy a couple pictures from the day, feel free to comment if you would like!

"A Child Is The Greatest Joy, The Ultimate Blessing"

Yesterday I was really looking forward to the photo shoot of our friends daughter, Samantha. I had not seen them all in awhile and it was a lot of fun getting to spend time with all of them. Since Samantha is turning six months old in a few days, we thought now would be a good time to get some cute photos of her. Boy were we right! Not only is she SUPER adorable, she had lots of smiles for the camera! I hope that you like a few of my favorites, enjoy.

"Oh Amy....

Where do I even begin? I was just about to go to bed when I got your message last night and I spent like 2 hours going through all of the pictures. I couldn't stop! I was speechless at how beautiful they all turned out. I would find one and say "That's my favorite!" and then 2 pictures later, go "No, that's my favorite!". (Erik was doing the same thing this morning!) It was so fun getting to see all the details of the day that I didn't get to see before - like the tables all set up, and the chairs ready to go. (I think it's because I got left downstairs in the laundry room for 30 minutes while Erik was wandering around outside - I really didn't get to see anything before I walked out with Dad! Hee hee hee!) I mean, the picture of the Best Friend sign under our TV stand, and the "I love you" I casually wrote on the
kitchen blackboard (Liz gave it to us as a Christmas present and that's the only thing that has ever been written on it!) - just, wow. I'm starting to cry all over again thinking about it. It was all just perfectly wonderful. And can I say, that picture of me and Brandy right before I walked out? She's been my constant companion through everything, and I'll treasure that captured moment for the rest of my life.

Seriously, the gift you have for capturing the smallest details and the care that you take doing it is truly amazing. Erik and I could not be happier with everything - and there's no other way to say it! You rocked it, lady. Over 95+ heat, and you didn't even skip a beat - you were your absolute wonderful self, knowing exactly what pose you wanted next and coming
up with ideas on the spot. I cannot even tell you how many compliments we received during and after about how creative, professional and fun you were - everyone loved you (which is no surprise at all!)! The road that Erik and I have taken from being teenager best friends to finally being married best friends has been a long and winding one, so to say that June 11th was a big day for us and our families would be a massive understatement. You perfectly captured it all for us, and there is no other way to do justice to how much it meant to us to have you there, except to just say Thank you - so incredibly much. I can't wait to get the CDs and start picking out pictures for our
walls!!!

"Amy Olson was the photographer at our wedding on April 25, 2009 at the Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota. We were absolutely impressed with her services. We had our pictures taken before the wedding. We were both nervous and Amy put us at ease and made taking pictures a lot of fun. She started with the two of us and then did family pictures. Amy has a natural way of making it fun and calming at the same time.
Amy is very creative. We were not looking for the normal type of wedding pictures; we wanted them to be different, fun, and natural. She absolutely captured that, while still getting the traditional family pictures.
Our pictures were provided to us on discs in a very short time frame. We are thoroughly happy with how they all turned out. The only problem is that there are so many we like, it is hard to choose which ones we wanted to frame. Amy policy of allowing her clients to have all of the pictures she takes helps with this. We get to keep them all.
Overall, I would say that our experience with Amy was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend her services. I know we will be calling her when our kid’s graduations come up.
