"Alexander's Debut"

Although little Alexander was only two weeks old in our photo session, he still managed to strike adorable little poses for me to capture...boy, he learns quick, huh?! "Beautiful Aaliyah"

It was my pleasure to photograph Aaliyah's very first photos at one month old. She is so darn cute which made it even easier for me to capture all her adorable little moments. Mom, Dad, and Auntie brought over lots of fun Fall props for us to use during the shoot since it was to cold for outside photos that day. "A Family Is Full Of Countless Blessings"

Last week I had a great time with Jason, Kim, Brandon, and Kallie's family photos. Brandon was such a good big brother to Kallie and I think that we got some cute shots of all of them. On Saturday, September 26th I felt honored to capture Luke and Jillian's special day for them! They truly had a beautiful Fall day for their wedding which was a nice surprise (the weather forecast had said rain all week). From the beginning of the day when I watched the girls get their hair done, their beautiful church wedding, riding around on golf carts for photos (SO FUN), and ending the night at their reception at Lake Front Park in Prior Lake. Everyone appeared to be having a GREAT time and everything looked beautiful! They truly make an adorable couple and it was nice seeing such an important day in their lives.

"Logan is One!"

Last week our friends Randy, Leah, and their little son Logan came over to the house for a fun "one year old" photo shoot. I can't believe how fast the last year has gone. He is SUCH a cutie and we had a great time getting some fun photos of all three of them. We also had a ton of fun watching him enjoy his very first piece of birthday cake (a little early, but hey, who doesn't love more birthday cake?). He had a great time and dug right in!... It was nice spending time with the three of them and I hope that you enjoy a few photos from their day.

On September 19th my assistant, Heather, and I ventured to Cold Spring, MN to capture Neil and Emilee's "big day". They had a beautiful day for their wedding and it looked like everyone was having a wonderful time. They had a great group of people surrounding them which made it fun for us as well to photograph. "Oh Amy....

Where do I even begin? I was just about to go to bed when I got your message last night and I spent like 2 hours going through all of the pictures. I couldn't stop! I was speechless at how beautiful they all turned out. I would find one and say "That's my favorite!" and then 2 pictures later, go "No, that's my favorite!". (Erik was doing the same thing this morning!) It was so fun getting to see all the details of the day that I didn't get to see before - like the tables all set up, and the chairs ready to go. (I think it's because I got left downstairs in the laundry room for 30 minutes while Erik was wandering around outside - I really didn't get to see anything before I walked out with Dad! Hee hee hee!) I mean, the picture of the Best Friend sign under our TV stand, and the "I love you" I casually wrote on the
kitchen blackboard (Liz gave it to us as a Christmas present and that's the only thing that has ever been written on it!) - just, wow. I'm starting to cry all over again thinking about it. It was all just perfectly wonderful. And can I say, that picture of me and Brandy right before I walked out? She's been my constant companion through everything, and I'll treasure that captured moment for the rest of my life.

Seriously, the gift you have for capturing the smallest details and the care that you take doing it is truly amazing. Erik and I could not be happier with everything - and there's no other way to say it! You rocked it, lady. Over 95+ heat, and you didn't even skip a beat - you were your absolute wonderful self, knowing exactly what pose you wanted next and coming
up with ideas on the spot. I cannot even tell you how many compliments we received during and after about how creative, professional and fun you were - everyone loved you (which is no surprise at all!)! The road that Erik and I have taken from being teenager best friends to finally being married best friends has been a long and winding one, so to say that June 11th was a big day for us and our families would be a massive understatement. You perfectly captured it all for us, and there is no other way to do justice to how much it meant to us to have you there, except to just say Thank you - so incredibly much. I can't wait to get the CDs and start picking out pictures for our
walls!!!

"Amy Olson was the photographer at our wedding on April 25, 2009 at the Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota. We were absolutely impressed with her services. We had our pictures taken before the wedding. We were both nervous and Amy put us at ease and made taking pictures a lot of fun. She started with the two of us and then did family pictures. Amy has a natural way of making it fun and calming at the same time.
Amy is very creative. We were not looking for the normal type of wedding pictures; we wanted them to be different, fun, and natural. She absolutely captured that, while still getting the traditional family pictures.
Our pictures were provided to us on discs in a very short time frame. We are thoroughly happy with how they all turned out. The only problem is that there are so many we like, it is hard to choose which ones we wanted to frame. Amy policy of allowing her clients to have all of the pictures she takes helps with this. We get to keep them all.
Overall, I would say that our experience with Amy was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend her services. I know we will be calling her when our kid’s graduations come up.
