It was my honor to photograph Collier and Rebecca's wedding on July 19th. They are a wonderful couple and watching them on their special day was a great experience. The two of them, along with their friends and family made us feel more than welcome which made it a fabulous event to photograph and be a part of.

"2008 Show Off Savage Photo Contest"

The City of Savage and seven area businesses sponsored the 2008 Show Off Savage Photo Contest. The annual contest invites community members of all ages to submit their best photographs of the people, places, events and life in Savage.

This year I submitted five entries and was notified last week that two were chosen to be recognized.

More than 80 entries were submitted by the July 8 deadline. Winners were announced at the July 21 Savage City Council meeting, where they were presented with gift certificates from the contest sponsors. Sponsors include Wal-Mart, Perkins, Applebees, Davanni's, Axel's Bonfire, McHugh's Grille and Bar, and Buffalo Tap. Grand prizes are sponsored by the City of Savage and include a $100 check for the adult division and a $50 Target gift card for the youth.

"The Beginning Of Their Happily Ever After"

Brooke and Joe got married this past Saturday in Marine on the St. Croix at Brooke's Grandparents home - it was beautiful! They had a great day for an outdoor wedding and everything turned out wonderful. They both met at a Harley Davidson store over a year ago so the fact they rode the motorcycle after the wedding was perfect.

A few weeks ago it was my pleasure to capture William's first birthday moments (a little late) at Hidden Valley Park in Savage. We had a fun time playing on all of the toys and had fun with Mom and Dad. Boy how a year passes quickly!...

It was my pleasure to have been asked to be a part of Lindsay and Cody's wedding on Saturday, June 21st. They are wonderful friends and I felt honored to be a part of their wedding and witness the love they have for one another. Not only was I photographing their wedding, I was also a bridesmaid which made my assistant Jackie along with Chantelle VERY important parts of my photo capturing process - they did a great job.
